I first met Yvette when I was facilitating a Family Readiness Group meeting as president of the USS Pennsylvania Blue Family Readiness Group (FRG), when her husband had just transferred from a different boat (submarine) to the Penn. The Family Readiness Group (FRG) is a command-supported organization whose sole purpose is to provide emotional support during the Sailor's time in the command.
