Wetland Waddlers Sat Feb 10, 9:30-11:30 Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center

Nature Rocks is the theme this month. Preschoolers and their caregivers can dress for the weather and explore the Mercer Slough thru art, play and story time. Find out how the simple rock can be transformed into many different things. Pre-register. $20.


Victory Heights Playground Opening Sat Feb 10, 10-11:30 a.m. Victory Heights Playground. FREE

Celebrate the fabulous new playground in Victory Heights at a ribbon cutting ceremony. The new park features play area equipment for children ages 2 to 5 and 5 to 12 including slides, net climbing elements, swings, musical instruments, a merry-go-round, and a deluxe coupe car-climbing element. Plus additional picnic tables and seating in the community picnic area and a reconfigured basketball court with a separate sand play area. Come and try it out!


Vintage Computer Festival Sat Feb 10, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Living Computers Museum & Labs

It’s the very first Vintage Computer Festival show in the Pacific Northwest presented by the Vintage Computer Federation! Come explore over 20 hands-on exhibits over the weekend, from early graphical workstations to modern enhancements for old systems, as well as a variety of speakers including the museum's own Cynde Moya (Collections Manager). Bring your camera, your kids, and enjoy. Event included with admission. $16. $14 seniors and students, free ages 5 and younger. 


Symphony Serenade Presents ‘Here, There and Everywhere’ Sat Feb 10, 10-11 a.m. Lake Washington High School Performing Arts Center

Your entire family will love this show.  Come listen as the Symphony Serenade members traverse America to find their favorite kinds of music - from Ragtime and Blues to Jazz and lullabies.  Stay after the show to meet the performers in the lobby and have a free cookie! $10.


CulturalFest 2018 Performance Showcase Sat Feb 10, 7 p.m. Meany Hall

Enjoy an unforgettable evening of music and dance at the CulturalFest Performance Showcase. Featuring University of Washington students and scholars from around the world, the showcase highlights the incredible diversity of the UW international student community. Doors for pre-show entertainment opens at 5:30 PM. $15, free ages 10 and younger.


Family Magic Show at the Seattle Center Sun Feb 11, 1 & 3 p.m. Seattle Center, Center House Theater

Magician Raymond is at it again. Bring the family and be amazed by the comedy magic, stage illusions, mind reading and escapes during this one-hour show. Audience participation is enthusiastically encouraged and be sure to stick around after the show - all the kids will learn a magic trick they can bring home to perform. $5 cash at the door, free ages 3 and younger.
