Cirrus Circus Performance, Fri/Sat 7 p.m. Sun 3 p.m. thru Nov 21. SANCA Seattle. Oooh and aaaah over the original acts of these high-flying acrobats. Aerial rope, juggling, Chinese pole, tumbling, contortion and many more feats of strength and skill. $15, $10 ages 12 and younger.


Poultry Predictor 5K Run/Walk, Redmond Central Connector Park, Sat 9 a.m. Accurately predict your race time and win a frozen turkey! No timing devices of any kind allowed on the course. $30-40. $15 ages 15 and younger. 


Art Exploration, Seattle Children's PlayGarden, Sat 10:30-12:30. Explore art in an open, sensory-friendly environment with Ms. Arni. Kids 3-5 at 10:30, kids 6 and older at 11:30. Paint, collage, create. $10. Scholarships available. childrensplaygarden.org


Saturday Family Concert: Kabuki Academy, Sat 11 a.m. Town Hall Seattle. Join a morning of interactive shamisen Japanese music, classical dance and other Kabuki arts. Free ages 12 and younger. $5 adults accompanying kids. townhallseattle.org


Denim Demolition, Sat 12-3 Bellevue Arts Museum. Celebrate the exhibit Counter-Couture and the 1960s-70s by embellishing your own denim. Rip, paint, bead and embroider. Event included with admission. $10, $8 students and seniors, free ages 5 and younger. bellevuearts.org


Salmon Stations, Sun 11-2 Carkeek Park. FREE. It's time to watch the salmon heading upstream in Piper's Creek. Come cheer on the Coho and chum as they work their hardest. Drop-in stations and trained guides in blue vests will be available for facts and questions.
