Flowers, Floats and Marching Bands: Celebrate Spring at the Daffodil Parade

The Daffodil Parade heralds spring with a day-long procession from Tacoma to Orting.

Celebrate community, tradition and all things Spring at the 83rd Annual Daffodil Parade and Festival! This all-day parade will feature marching units, school bands and beautiful daffodil-laden floats recognizing the flower fields that once covered the Puyallup Valley. Beginning as a garden party in 1926, the Festival has grown to a much-loved salute to daffodils and the history they bring to Pierce County. The parade route spans 4 cities, from Tacoma to Orting.


Parade Schedule:

Tacoma: 10:15 a.m.

Puyallup: 12:45 p.m.

Sumner: 2:30 p.m.

Orting: 5 p.m.


When: Apr 9 at 10:15 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Starts in Downtown Tacoma , 11th & Pacific Ave.

Cost: Free
