Free “Demystifying the College Planning Process” Class for Parents




Join College Planning Solutions, Inc. on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. for an informative presentation for parents and students titled "Demystifying the College Planning Process."

The college planning seminar will address such topics as motivating the student to take initiative in preparing now; building a successful combination of academics, activities, test scores and other factors for admission to public or private colleges with scholarships; getting the facts about best-fit colleges that lead to more job offers and career success; helping the student identify field of study and a path to gaining confidence, health, and academic success; and learning how parents and student can work together in partnership and mutual respect.

This seminar will take place at Academy Schools, located at 14601 Interurban Ave. S. in Tukwila. High and middle school students are encouraged to attend with their parents. Pre-register by calling 206-588-0860 or emailing sargent@academyschools.org.
