Gift-Worthy Cookies for the Holidays

The holidays are upon us, and for busy parents, gift shopping can get trickier every year. Enter Martha Stewart, arguably the queen of the holiday season, who recently combined forces with Marley Spoon meal kit delivery services. As of this year, Martha and Marley Spoon are offering “Martha’s Holiday Cookie Box,” a baking kit that provides pre-portioned ingredients and easy-to-follow recipe cards from which you can make your own holiday cookie stash from scratch.

Each kit also comes with parchment cookie bags, and red and white baker’s twine: everything you need to wrap your cookies up for the perfect gift.

The peppermint brownies are particularly delicious—make sure to save a few for, ahem, Santa.

Martha’s Holiday Cookie Box yields 11 dozen cookies, and includes recipes and ingredients for:

  • Noel Nut Balls (bakes 60 1” balls): an old family recipe from Martha’s mother, with pecans and honey, then dusted in confectioners’ sugar.
  • Brown Butter Cardamom Cookies (bakes 40): brown butter and vanilla extract combined with warming cardamom and dusted with red sanding sugar.
  • Chewy Chocolate-Gingerbread Cookies (bakes 24): the sweetness of molasses and candied ginger blended with bittersweet chocolate for a warming family favorite.
  • Double-Chocolate Peppermint Brownies (bakes 16): a double-dose of chocolate topped with crushed candy canes makes this a seasonal crowd-pleaser.

So whether it’s for a cookie swap, an easy gift for neighbors or teachers, or just for your own family, Martha has your cookie needs covered this holiday season.  Sets are priced at $38.99 and include ingredients and instructions for four cookie recipes, red and white baker’s twine, and eight parchment cookie bags.
