Half-popped snack attack from Halfpops

They’re just like they sound: crunchy, salty, half-popped popcorn kernels. But don’t be fooled: air-popped Halfpops are remarkably addictive. These wee snacks also happen to be gluten-free, nut-free, and free of corn syrup, trans fat, artificial flavors and preservatives. Whew! Backpacker magazine named them the top snack of 2014 just a few years after entrepreneur Mike Fitzgerald first fine-tuned the initial recipe in the bathtub of his Eastside home. Find them in flavors including Butter & Pure Ocean Sea Salt, Chipotle Barbecue, and Aged White Cheddar at area supermarkets including QFC, PCC Natural Markets, Whole Foods and Metropolitan Market, or halfpops.com.
