Hey, kids: You could win a prize in University Book Store's bookmark contest

Hey, kids: Get out those markers, colored pencils, paints, glitter — whatever makes you feel most creative.

University Book Store is holding its 33rd annual Kids Bookmark Contest.

This year's theme is Books Open for Everyone.

Four winners will be selected in each of three categories: K-2, grades 3-5, and grades 6-8, for a total of 12 prizes.

Winning bookmark designs will displayed in stores and online (but only with winners' first name, last initial, grade, and school).

The deadline for entries is Friday, March 29. Here are more specifics on the rules.

An official entry form is available online here or at the U District, Mill Creek, and Tacoma stores. It has the correct dimensions for a bookmark, so be sure to use it.
