Your guide to a kid-friendly city

Museum of Flight offers free memberships for kids 5-18; here's how to get one

Kids interested in aerospace, aviation and related fields can qualify for unlimited visits (plus admission for an adult). Here's how the program works.

If you’ve got a kid who is interested in all things aircraft and spacecraft, let them take flight through the Connections program at the Museum of Flight.

This educational membership program is designed for kids ages 5-18 and comes with benefits like unlimited free visits to the museum for the student and one adult, invitations to exclusive events (example: and opportunities, early registration to select education programs,  access to the Alaska Airlines Aerospace Education Center and its network of educational support tools, and of course, plenty of chances to learn about the exciting world of aerospace and aviation.

The next opportunity to sign up is Free First Thursday on Feb. 6. Free First Thursday happens every month (and Museum of Flight is among numerous participating local museums), but Connections enrollment is only available on select First Thursdays. Kids who come with a parent or guardian will be eligible to join Connections.

More questions about the Connections program should be addressed to connections@museumofflight.org or call 206-768-7239.
