New after-school care program slated to open in the Phinney Center

There’s a new after-school program located in The Phinney Center.  The program was put in place to provide affordable, exciting and creative care to elementary school students in the Phinney neighborhood of Seattle.

Each week the care team will have a guided project, a design challenge and three free days where students have access to an array of crafts and materials to create anything of their choosing. There’s also a huge collection of games, books and puzzles available. 

Depending on availability, staff may be able to accommodate students who are in school-based enrichment programs that need pick-up after those activities.

Care cost $19 a day. We should note, this care option is the least expensive option for after school care in Seattle.  Transportation is provided from the following elementary schools: Whittier, Greenwood and Daniel Bagley.  The program opens its doors on October 9th.
