Plant a tree on Green Seattle Day

Join hundreds of volunteers planting thousands of plants and trees in parks throughout the city for Green Seattle Day, Saturday, November 4 from 9 a.m. to noon.  It’s a chance to teach your kids the importance of restoring our forests, and also have the chance to plant a tree in their favorite park!

This year’s meeting location will be at Jefferson Community Center in Beacon Hill. Volunteers will be invited to the hubsite the morning of the event where there will be speakers, snacks and coffee. Volunteers will be shuttled to 5 nearby parks including: Cheasty Greenspace, East Duwamish Greenbelt – Horton, Genesee Park, Lewis Park and Maplewood Playfield.  A free lunch will be provided to volunteers.
