The annual Seattle Night Out Against Crime is Tuesday, Aug. 4. You know you’ve been meaning to welcome that couple who moved in eight months ago to your ’hood, or to organize a play date with the little boy across the street. This is your opportunity.

Register your block with the Seattle Police Department, then block off your street for a night (non-arterials only) and invite the neighbors out for a potluck and to play. Get to know your neighbors and help prevent crime. seattle.gov/police/nightout
