Description:

Oxbow is a nonprofit organization and organic vegetable farm in the Snoqualmie River Valley, just 25 miles from Seattle. Fall and Spring Farm Adventures teach kids (PreK- Grade 5) about soil, growing food, and tasting the bounty of the season. Fall Farm Adventures also include a sugar pie pumpkin from Oxbow's pumpkin patch. In winter, Oxbow brings the farm to you with in-class lessons about seeds, pollinators, worms, and more! For older students, Oxbow offers an Organic Farming 101 program that dives deeper into organic farming techniques and soil health, and includes a hands-on service project on the farm.
