For over 30 years, Wilderness Awareness School students have been discovering the wonders of nature, exploring our natural environment and building friendships. They work together gaining nature awareness and experiential knowledge of plants, animals, tracking, birds and survival. Storytelling and engaging activities make learning fun and nurture students’ connection to the earth.
We offer day and overnight camps in the summer and once-a-month (Fridays and Saturdays) and once-a-week (Thursdays and Fridays) programs during the school year. We offer programs at 5 Seattle and Eastside locations.
