Seattle and Eastside indoor playspaces for babies and toddlers

Seattle has some truly fun options for your crawler or toddler to romp freely with other little ones in a dedicated playspace. These local playspaces, gyms, sports centers and community centers feature toddler- and baby-focused play zones that you can hit up on a rainy day (or when your kids just can't be bothered to play outdoors).
OmTots at OmCulture
OmTots at local yoga gym OmCulture offers little ones ages 1 to 5 the chance to roam, romp, and play on gymnastic equipment. The space has swings, a balance beam, and mats to tumble on. OmCulture instructors will lead a kinetic activity for all participants each session.
A 10-class pass runs $80; $10 for drop-in.

Wunderkind is a totally sweet space where little ones can romp to their hearts' content. Massive tables are covered in Lego blocks, trains, and Duplo blocks. Wunderkind also features Lego-building classes – totally cool.
$6 per kid daily for unlimited kid, $4 for additional kids. $15 for a monthly unlimited pass; $150 for a yearlong pass.

Zoomazium at Woodland Park Zoo
Woodland Park Zoo’s lovely Zoomazium is an indoor playspace for kids birth to age 8. There are multiple play areas in Zoomazium, including nature-themed playspaces like a mountain cave, the canopy of the trees, and a watering hole. Entrance to Zoomazium is included with zoo admission.
Daily, 9:30 am to 4 pm
$13.75 for adult admission; $9.25 for kids 3 to 12; kids under 2 are free.

DaBuDa Playhouse & Cafe
DaBuDa’s playspace for kids 6 months to 6 years is a dreamy place to play – and they’ve got a cafe! DaBuDa has a two-tiered play area complete with toys, slides, and tunnels. While kids romp, you can grab coffee at the D Cafe.
Adults and infants under a year enter for free; $10 for drop-in, $9 for siblings.

Bellevue’s Funtastic Playtorium is a playspace geared at kids 1 to 10 that features a separate space for toddlers. The multi-level playspace is filled with twists, turns, and secret passageways, so kids won’t get bored too quickly. They also offer sensory-friendly play hours; check their Facebook page for the schedule.
For kids under 3, $8 for 2 hours of play, $10 for unlimited play; for kids over 3, $10 for 2 hours, $13 for unlimited play. Adults and kids under 1 are free.

Giggle Jungle, a more recent addition to the Redmond Town Center, is open to all kids under 48 inches. The padded space has gorgeously designed playtoys, which are great for climbers, while still offering smaller crawlers room to roam.

Roo’s World of Discovery
Roos' World, a “Montessori-inspired” playspace, opened last week in Kirkland. The inclusive playspace is tailored to kids from birth to five, and features eco-friendly toys; an open playspace; classes and workshops like breastfeeding support, infant massage, and storytime yoga; curated art projects; a sensory room for kids with autism or sensory processing issues; and a Cedarworks climbing structure. Low sensory hours are also offered.

L’il Diggers at Sandbox Sports Seattle
The sandbox sessions at Georgetown’s Sandbox Sports Seattle are good, messy fun for kids birth to age 5. Sandbox Sports provides toys, digging materials, and small slides. Best of all, they use a large-grain sand, so cleanup is a breeze.
$7 for child admission and one free adult per child; additional adults $7 per person.

Rainier Beach Community Center’s indoor pool
Rainier Beach’s indoor pool is a swimmer’s paradise: The pool features an indoor splash pad where little ones can play underneath big fountains and water features.
