The Bounty of Fall: Seattle-Area Harvest Festivals Celebrate the Beauty and Fun of Autumn

Though October is quickly drawing to a close, there are harvest festivals aplenty around town. Some of the region's best fall fun is found at these sweet local harvest festivals, where kids can revel in the glory of autumn, enjoy fall foods, create some cool crafts, and hopefully find a leaf pile to jump into.

 

Friday, October 23

Swanson Nursery's Fall Festival

Swanson Nursery's Fall Festival runs from October 23 to 25; this cool fall festival offers tractor rides, a straw maze, and games and crafts for kids.

High Point's Fall Festival

High Point Community Center's Fall Festival features inflatables and carnival games.

Ravenna-Eckstein's Freaky Fall Festival 

Ravenna-Eckstein CC's Freaky Fall Festival is bringing carnival games, a bouncy castle, and crafts for kids!

Saturday, October 24

Jubilee Farm Pumpkin Weekend

This old-school farm event showcases live music from The W Lovers, tours of the farm, and arts and crafts activities for kids.

Cama Beach Harvest Festival

Camano Island's harvest festival is full of pumpkin carving, crafts, and vegetable car races.

BAM-O-WEEN

Bellevue Arts Museum's urban harvest festival celebrates fall with tons of cool fall-themed arts activities! The free event offers crafting projects, face-painting, and the change to explore the museum's galleries. Costumes are encouraged.

Fall Carnival at Olympic View Elementary

Olympic View's Fall Carnival turns the school into a fall wonderland, featuring a cake decorating contest for OV students, games, and food for purchase. Tickets will be on sale for $1/ticket at the door.

Sunday, October 25

West Seattle Harvest Festival

West Seattle's Junction neighborhood gets closed to traffic for their harvest festival, featuring a farmers market, a costume parade, and trick-or-treating for kiddos.
