Snapdoodle Toys adds online shopping during coronavirus outbreak

Snapdoodle Toys

Knowing that a new toy, game or puzzle might be just what the doctor (or harried parent) ordered about now, Snapdoodle Toys, the popular local toy seller, is offering online ordering and $5 local shipping.

Snapdoodle's four stores -- in Seattle, Redmond, Kenmore and Issaquah -- are closed to walk-in business, but owners Rob and Cherry Pickering say they have more than 450 items for sale on their website with more being added daily. (Snapdoodle is new to online ordering!) Their offerings include games, puzzles, construction sets, arts and crafts and more to "engage & entertain kids & families inside your homes & help stop the spread of the virus."

The $5 shipping offer is good for two weeks (through April 8) and they ask that you call (425-408-0021) to see if your address falls within their definition of "local."

What better time, and what better way, to support a local business?
