Description:

At Parnassus School of Piano, piano lessons are designed to motivate students to reach their goals by building a strong foundation in music reading, artistry, technique, theory and of course performance. We have designed a course of study that is individually tailored to each student's interests, needs, and learning styles. We believe that proper fundamentals from the start are important and we try to nurture a life-long love of music and all the joy it can bring.

Our students learn not only piano performance and appreciation for music, but also the values of discipline and commitment, all within a context of enjoying the process of learning music. Learning to play piano with our teachers is not only enjoyable, but also a culturally, artistically and intellectually enriching process. Whether our student is a five year old just beginning, an adult who is interested in reaching higher levels of playing, or an advanced concert pianist preparing for a major piano competition or university audition, you can be certain that our knowledge and experience will help you reach your musical goals.

All of our teachers have Doctorate Degrees in Music and years of experience teaching children - we offer a friendly yet challenging environment where all students are encouraged to develop their talent to the best of their ability, whether they are young beginners learning piano as a hobby or experienced competition pianists.

TO REGISTER, send us an email with your name, the age(s) of students and preferred schedule (see CONTACT US page) and we will email a registration form and class availability.
