The Foodways Project is a community organization that's dedicated to education, empowerment and activism. They focus on building community through racial justice and examining how "race intersects with food, identity, and power."

They recently published a fantastic roundup of their 30+ favorite local restaurants owned or run by folks of color. The post is being regularly updated, and the Foodways Project encourages readers to add their suggestions to the list.

Check out the roundup of their 30+ favorite POC-owned eateries and learn more about Foodways' work here.
