The festival of lights: Seattle-area Chanukah celebrations for the whole family

Come together with family and friends for Chanukah, which started this year on December 6 and continues until December 14.

 

The Big Chanukah Show

The entire Seattle Jewish community is welcome at The Big Chanukah Show, a free musical variety show featuring Chanukah-related music.

Chanukah songs & storytime

Sing, listen to stories, and light candles at this kid-centric Chanukah event.

Chanukah fun and menorah lighting

This Chanukah event at University Village features dreidel spinning, menorah lighting, and Chanukah crafting. QFC will host dreidels and crafts from 4:30 to 6:30, and the menorah lighting will take place at 6 pm.

Chanukah dinner and talent show

This latke dinner at Congregation Beth Shalom also features candlelighting and an all-ages talent show.

Chanukah Wonderland

Chabad Issaquah puts on this event featuring menorah lighting, facepainting, food and crafts.

Join Temple Beth Am for music, candlelighting, dessert and a magic show.

Hanukkah Under the Stars

This amazing all-ages Chanukah party features SANCA acrobats, a musical performance by Shul of Rock, science demonstrations from PacSci, games, crafts, facepainting, and a planetarium experience for older kids, hosted by the Museum of Flight.

Cultural Story Time Chanukah celebration

Head to the Lake City library for an amazing Chanukah storytime, featuring singing, dancing and a bit of Hebrew.

A Great Miracle: Songs for Hanukkah

Seattle Jewish Chorale will sing new and classic Chanukah songs, as well as leading a singalong.
