A Kwanzaa celebration at NAAM

Head to the Northwest African-American Museum for Kwanzaa crafts, storytime and the chance to take photos with an African-American Santa.

Eat cookies with Mrs. Claus

Celebrate the season with Mrs. Claus, who will hand out cookies this weekend; also, scope live reindeer at their Gingerbread House display and take a photo with Santa.

Home for the Holidays at Imagine Children’s Museum

Santa will visit kids in the museum’s lodge, the Quilceda Carvers will facilitate wood ornament decoration for families and kids, kids can participate in “carpet skating,” and everyone can make ornament cards to take home in the Art Studio during this Home for the Holidays event.

Santa’s Landing Party

Santa arrives via airplane to the Museum of Flight at 11:45 am, and he’ll host family activities, holiday music and other indoor activities.

A winter Celebration at Woodland Park Zoo

Watch the animals at WPZ as they receive holiday-themed treats, like wreaths and evergreens with fruit and wrapped boxes.

Head to the Museum of Glass in Tacoma for Scandinavian Christmas giftmaking. In addition to crafting, the museum will feature the Rainier Ringers bell choir at 1 pm. All ages.

Joyeuses Fetes at Northwest Film Forum

Join the Northwest Film Forum as they preview the Children’s Film Festival. They’ll show French language films and other short children’s films about winter in addition to offering kids’ crafts.
