Upcoming Seattle School Board Public Meetings

The Seattle Public School Board welcomes members of the public to the legislative meetings of the Board and dedicates time at these meetings to hear from the public on agenda items and other issues of concern.

Regular Board meetings are generally scheduled to be held on Wednesdays, but are occasionally rescheduled around holidays or breaks. Meetings start at 4:15 p.m., with public testimony to begin no earlier than 5:30 p.m.  Please click here for full calendar of Board meetings.

Seattle School Board Regular meetings are broadcast live on the Seattle Public Schools education channel (SPS-TV) – Channel 26 on Comcast and Wave cable.  Video of each Board meeting is also available on the SPS YouTube site, usually posted within 24 hours of the meeting. Unless otherwise noted, all Board meetings are held in the auditorium of the John Stanford Center.

Meeting agendas are posted by the end of the day on the Friday before the meeting.

The next regular board meeting will be held Wednesday, March 7 in the auditorium at John Stanford Center.

There are also community meetings for each school district. Depending on your school district, you can find the schedule here.
