WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 7

 

Valentine's Day Craft Extravaganza with LEGOS
Create fun crafts including valentines and construct creative worlds with LEGOS, Duplos and MEGA BLOKS on this early-dismissal day for Seattle Public Schools. 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. FREE. Lake City Library, Lake City. 

 

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 9

 

Light Up Valentine's Day Card
Drop-in to make Valentine’s Day cards using LED lights. All ages, under 6 with an adult. 4 to 5:30 p.m. FREE. Sumner Library, Sumner.
 

February Chantey Sing
Dan, a professional folk singer, will lead the Valentines version of the chantey sing, so bring along songs of love and sea lore to this sing-a-long. 8 to 10 p.m. FREE. Donations accepted. Historic Steam Ferry Virginia V‚Äč, Seattle. 

 

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10

 

Family Fun: Funny Little Valentine
Make a special gift for your special pal to take home!  Sing a song, do a little dance, and complete the morning decorating a sweet Valentine treat.  This is a child and caregiver class. 10 to 11:30 a.m. Ages 2-5 with caregiver. $30-$35. Pre-registration required. Robinswood Barn at Robinswood Park, Bellevue.
 

Valentine Fun
Parents and kids will team up to create beautiful Valentine cards. Also share your love with a farm animal and participate in some fun holiday activities.  10 to 11:30 a.m. Ages 3-6. $25-$30. Pre-registration required. Kelsey Creek Farm Park, Bellevue. 
 

Valentine's Day Celebration at the Zoo
Watch as zoo animals receive heart-shaped fruit juice ice pops, honey, strawberries, heart-shaped steaks and other favorite treats. Included with admission. 10 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Included with regular admission. Free ages 2 and younger. Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle.
 

Love at Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium
Watch as animals receive Valentine-themed enrichment treats. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. Included with admission. Free ages 2 and younger. Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, Tacoma.

 

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 11

 

Hearts!
Get a taste of glassblowing while working with our skilled team of glassblowers to create your own glass heart in 20 minutes or less! All supplies provided. Reservations are recommended. 6 to 8 p.m. Ages 8 and older. $55. Schack Art Center, Everett.
 

Love ‘em or Leave ‘em Valentine’s Day Dash
Brownies, costumes, mimosas, a beer garden and a 5K or 10K run/walk with a “tunnel of love” fence for leaving notes to participants. Plus, the custom-designed bib numbers allow you to select your current relationship status. So go ahead and let the world know. 8 a.m. registration, 9:10 a.m. kids' dash (ages 10 and younger), 9:30 a.m. run/walk. Free kids’ dash. Green Lake Park, Seattle.

Heart Hullabaloo
Stop by the Imagination Studio to make a card or gift for your valentine. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Included with admission. Seattle Children’s Museum, Seattle.
