Families everywhere will cheer the addition of the ZoomKIT to their roadtrip essentials. The ZoomKIT is a portable kid’s table and activity tray that works with car seats, booster seats, on strollers or as a stand-alone table. The special activity inserts, including the ZoomSNACK box and ZoomART box, will keep your children entertained on long car trips or commuting to and from school or work.

Created on Bainbridge Island, the ZoomKIT concept was developed by mom of three Justine Smith after too many long commutes where her children dropped food, toys or otherwise caused driver distraction. She wanted to create a solution to her problem, and the ZoomKIT was born.

“Our commutes were managed chaos,” says Smith. “I was constantly amped up and couldn’t respond with kindness. I had to pack everything for the day, and there was no system for me to organize it all, safely.”

The ZoomKIT helps to decrease driving distractions by providing your kids with a projectile-safe surface and engaging activities. The ZoomKIT can even be belted around your child to keep it from slipping. The ZoomSNACK box comes with a tethered fork that can also be used to tether toys for younger children. The ZoomART Space Magic insert provides hours of creative fun with illustrations and activities in space with aliens, rocket ships and planets. The ZoomART comes with a dry-erase board, a reusable dry-erase activity book, a coloring book and both dry-erase pens and crayons. ZoomKIT is planning a Kickstarter later this summer for the ZoomTEK, a tablet-holding insert.
