Seattle Children's Theatre (SCT) is partnering with 710 AM ESPN Seattle to present its first-ever Dads' Night on Friday, Feb. 19, at 5:30 p.m. Dads' Night will feature an appearance by 710 AM ESPN Seattle's Brock Huard, food provided by SPORT Restaurant, activities for children led by teaching artists from SCT's Drama School, and a 7 p.m. performance of the world-premiere production In the Northern Lands: Nordic Myths.
In the Northern Lands: Nordic Myths is an adaptation of traditional stories from Norse mythology, with strong themes of bravery, loyalty and courage. The production is intensely physical, with stage combat and aerial rope work that brings the epic stories of Odin, Thor, Loki and Freya to life on stage. The play is recommended for children ages 8 and older.
Tickets for Dads' Night are $27 for adults and $21 for children, with the pre-show reception included at no additional cost. To purchase tickets, call the SCT ticket office at 206-441-3322 (note that play tickets can be purchased online at www.sct.org, but reservations for the reception must be made by phone prior to the event).
