Daddy (or Mommy)-Daughter Valentines Dances
Used to be Valentines Day was for lovers.
But with chocolate as readily available as air these days, Cupid’s holiday has long since extended to office mates, all 30 kids in your child’s classroom, your mother, your best friend, the dog and cat and the mailman for whom you leave a cupcake on February 14. It has also turned into a day for parents to heart their kids in special ways – in particular the Puget Sound region offers numerous opportunities for dads (and moms) to demonstrate to their daughters how a lady should be treated by a potential suitor. When they are older, say, 30.
What better way to show and share the magic of love than to take your little princess to a ball? Father-daughter dances are an opportunity to sweet your daughter off her feet. Get dressed up, play, create some magic she’ll remember when her true Prince(ss) Charming comes along.
