Sleep Country Kicks Off Clothing Drive, Wild Waves Offers Discounted Admission
For nearly 20,000 foster children in the Northwest, moving into a foster home often means leaving behind personal belongings such as clothing and shoes. To help, Sleep Country USA is collecting new clothing in all sizes – including packaged undergarments and socks – for foster children now through Sunday, July 22.
Bring your donations to any Sleep Country location and they will be given to local foster children in need. As well, the Wild Waves Theme Park in Federal Way is offering half-price admission on Sunday, June 24, to anyone who brings a new item of clothing to the park for Sleep Country.
For tips on how to host your own clothing drive, visit Sleep Country's web site. Or, you can donate online and Sleep Country staff will do the shopping for you.
