Host Your Own Pajama Drive for Foster Kids

Children often enter foster care with very few possessions of their own, and as foster parents handle other expenses, comfort items like cozy pajamas are sometimes neglected. Donate new PJs to Sleep Country’s annual "Pajama Drive for Foster Kids," now through March 2.

Donations of new pajamas in all sizes can be dropped off at any Sleep Country store. As well, new this year, the company is making contributing even easier with the launch of its DonorDrive platform. The new website allows donors to create their own personal campaigns to raise money online and resources to host their own collection drives

Sleep Country’s Foster Kids program celebrated a record-breaking year in 2013, bringing in 140,400 essential items for foster youth in the Northwest through its six annual donation drives – a 20 percent increase over the previous year. All contributions are distributed among Sleep Country’s foster care partner organizations, benefitting nearly 20,000 foster children.
