Our Space and Aviation camp is back by popular demand! We are excited to announce the continuation of our collaboration with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). We will offer two weeks of our Space and Aviation camp, where campers will learn about space and flight, code and fly drones supplied by the FAA, and visit the Museum of Flight. Additionally, campers will engage in hands-on STEM-based projects centered around space and flight for this action-packed week of camp!
This year, we have three new STEM camps: STEM in Sports, STEM in Soccer, and Mariner's Baseball and STEM camp. All three camps combine sports-based skill-building with hands-on, sports-themed STEM learning.
Our Mariner’s Baseball and STEM camp is a 4-day camp that will combine building baseball skills with STEM integration in partnership with the Seattle Mariners. Campers will learn techniques and build skills in all areas of baseball with the Seattle Mariners’ youth coaching staff. Then, they will learn how STEM is used in baseball, exploring hands-on learning activities with the Starfire STEM program.
Our STEM in Soccer camp is an exciting way to combine the two things Starfire Sports does best in this one-of-a-kind camp. Campers will work on their soccer skills while also learning how STEM topics are essential in making them better athletes, coaches, spectators, and fans. This camp combines physical activity, teamwork, and intellectual stimulation, perfectly balancing sports and creative problem-solving.
Our STEM in Sports camp is the perfect way for campers to stay active while exploring how the exciting worlds of science, technology, engineering, and math are ingrained into their favorite sports, like soccer, baseball, football, and hockey. This camp will feature new sports every day where campers will learn basic skills in each sport and learn how STEM plays a pivotal role in the world of sports, whether you are an athlete, trainer, or fan.
