Bring your kids and family to The Reptile Zoo in Monroe to experience Close Encounters from March through the summer.
There is no longer an additional fee to participate in Close Encounters. When you get to the zoo you can reserve a time slot to join in on a scheduled Close Encounter. The first people or group to sign up will begin their experience at the noted start times above and theyĀ continue to book time slots out,Ā so everyone is not doing the C.E. at the same time.Ā
The Reptile Zoon has the most extensive collection of reptiles on display that you will find in the Pacific Northwest including turtles, alligators, lizards and many types of snakes including some venomous types such as cobras and rattlesnakes. Some of their most popular animals include a turtle with two heads, an albino alligator, and Aldabra giant tortoises. When you arrive you can expect to be greeted by one of the friendly zoo keepers who will be happy to answer any questions that you might have.
