Duck Dodge Sailing Races at Lake Union

Description

Duck Dodge is a Lake Union, Seattle, sailing event on Tuesday nights that runs from the beginning of May and going throughout the Summer until September 3. Look forward to each week's theme includinga. onesie night, pirate night and more! Final event is Saturday, Sept 28.

Races are divided into ~4 “heats” based on the speed and performance of the boats participating. These heats include: 1) Fast Boats 2) Half Fast Boats 3) Cruising/Slow Boats, and 4) Dinghies.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners within each heat receive a gold, silver, or bronze duck stickers. Each weekly race has a special theme (i.e; “Tropical Night”, “Toga Night’ etc.) so please dress up.

A great spot to watch these races is on Gas Works Park Hill.
