Description
Come see the holiday model train running at the lush (and warm!) Volunteer Park Conservatory every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. through New Year’s. (Note: the Conservatory will close at 3:00 pm instead of 4:00 pm on select holidays and dates).
On Saturdays, December 9, 16, 23, and 30, if you come to see the Holiday Model Train between 1 pm and 2 pm, you'll hear harpist Bill McJohn playing in the Bromeliad House.

Seattle Parks & Recreation (SPR) offers single-day admission passes to the Conservatory:
Adult (18 and up) $6
Youth (6-17) $4
Child (5 and under) Free
College, Senior, Military, Adaptive $4
Annual pass. $30 per individual or $40 per family (can be purchased at the SPR Kiosks on site.)
Free admission on the 1st Thursday and 1st Saturday of each month.
SPR Park passes are separate from Friends of Conservatory membership.
The Conservatory urges visitors to join Friends of the Conservatory to support the plants and programming. An annual membership ($55 for a household of 2 or more) includes free admission and other benefits. Membership details HERE.
Visitors coming to enjoy the Holiday Model Train at Volunteer Park are asked to encourage their kids be respectful of the volunteer train engineer’s instructions and be careful with this special display so that it continues to run year after year.
