Kids Design Workshop – Design Your School
Location
Center for Architecture and Design
1010 Western Ave.
Seattle, WA 98104
Description
Designed with younger children in mind (ages 5-10 with chaperone), the Seattle Architecture Foundation family workshops encourage children and their caregivers to explore architecture through hands-on activities each month. Workshops begin with an exploration of exciting examples of architecture and activities that highlight the design process. Then, the kids are off–designing and building their own structures in a whirlwind two-hour workshop that culminates in a group presentation.
Please note: All workshops will require masks for all youth, adults, and staff (no matter their vaccination status) for the entirety of the event. All those who are eligible for vaccination are required to be vaccinated to attend and show vaccination proof upon entry.
We offer need-based scholarships for all SAF Family Programs. For details about scholarships, email Program Director, Marina Szende at Marina@seattlearchitecture.org
