Martin Luther King Jr. Day at Hands on Children’s Museum

Celebrate kindness & community! Honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with special art activities and collaborative projects at Hands on Children's Museum in Olympia. Activities will include painting, crafting, walking and celebrating MLK Jr Legacy.

Activities include:

• Help them paint popsicle sticks to craft a collaborative “quilt” as you celebrate MLK Jr’s legacy
• Silkscreen a paper peace print for free or purchase a t-shirt or tote bag for $15 plus tax
• Help “sow” seeds of kindness as you craft a collage “community garden”

Date/Time: Monday, January 19, 2026. 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
