Enjoy summer at the beach during the Five Star Dealerships'Â Sand and Sawdust Festival, celebrating the forests and beaches of the Washington State coast and the Olympic Peninsula in Grays Harbor. Activities on the beach include a Sandcastle Building Contest, in which teams of any size and composition can compete. A Master Sand Sculpture Contest will include three sand creations around town and a Chainsaw Art Show will feature 25 carvers, vendor booths, food booths and beer garden. At the Sand Drawing Celebration, watch as artists make large geometric drawings in the sand, only to be washed away at the next tide. If you want to learn the art and the craft, attend a workshop on sandcastle building or sand drawing.
