Join the monthly Paramount Park Star Party in nearby Shoreline, and join experienced astronomers as they volunteer their time, telescopes, and binoculars. Everyone is welcome, including families with children.
The Paramount Park Star Party offers one of the best possible observing experiences from a city location. Located in North Seattle, Paramount Part is easily and quickly reached by all in the Seattle area and offers an excellent city viewing experience. Don't forget to bring a red light headlamp if you have one available.
Dress warmly, bring a chair, blanket, hot drink, and binoculars if you have them.
Check the SAS website < www.seattleastro.org > frequently for star gazing event status. If weather conditions force cancellation of an event, that news will be posted not later than 4 p.m. the day of the event.
