Seattle Children’s Museum’s Prideful Playdate
Location
Seattle Children's Museum
305 Harrison St
Seattle, WA 98109
Description
Children and families come in all shapes and sizes and have their own unique ways to play and show love. Join the Seattle Children’s Museum’s Prideful Playdate.
They will kick off Pride through science, art, and self-expression—with activities that celebrate our differences and unique identities. Kids will also be learning about Pride’s history and significance through temporary exhibit enhancements, special story times, and access to local queer family resources.
Attend a Drag Story Time, participate in live action storytelling with Majestic Adventures, make shaving cream prints, rock temporary glitter tattoos, and spin, melt, and paint with every color of the identity rainbow.
In addition, you will be decorating kid-friendly parade signs and hosting their very own SCM Prideful Parade within our space! Participation is optional and open to any SCM visitors who want to join the fun.
- Drag Queen Story Time with Ms. Stachio: 11:00am
- SCM Prideful Parade: 12:00pm
- Live Action Storytelling with Majestic Adventures: 1:30pm & 2:30pm
