Story Time at Northeast Branch – SPL
Location
Northeast Branch - Seattle Public Library
6801 35th Ave. N.E.
Seattle, WA 98112
Description
At story time at the Northeast branch of Seattle Public Library (SPL) kids ages 0-5 and their families can enjoy stories, songs, and fun learning activities.
The Early Learning story time program is a great way for kids ages 0-5 and their families to develop learning, literacy, and language skills as well as enjoy the community of other families.
They read stories, sing songs, and have engaging, educational activities that help kids and their caregivers grow together.
Keep in mind that story times are popular and space is limited. You do no need to register, but consider arriving early to claim your child’s seat.
During story time sessions, age-appropriate stories are read aloud by branch workers and children up to age 5 are invited to participate in rhymes, songs, activities, and movement. Programs run 30 to 90 minutes depending on the branch. All are free.
There’s an SPL story time every day of the week somewhere in the city. Each one occurs weekly at the same time and place. Some are offered in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, and Somali.
