What was your childhood passion? Jump roping? Star WarsĀ® collectibles? Baking in an Easy Bake Oven? Whatever your favorite toy was, then and now, youāre sure to find it in the TOYTOPIA exhibition at the Washington State History Museum.
TOYTOPIA is one of the exhibits created by Stage 9 Exhibits. Their exhibitions focus on creating memorable educational experiences through popular culture.
With a footprint of over 6,000 square feet, TOYTOPIA will showcase interactive displays from toymakers, including HasbroĀ®, Duncan Yo-YoĀ®, SchleichĀ®, BreyerĀ®, CrayolaĀ®, KNEXĀ® and many more.
TOYTOPIA highlights include:
- The Worldās Largest Etch A Sketch
- A retro 80ās arcade with full-size cabinet video games
- A life-size Doll House, with engaging play areas
- Life-Size Monopoly Car and game board, Visitors can sit inside for a unique photo opportunity
- LEGO Play Area/LEGO Wall
- Giant Road Play Surface, a fanciful activity for all ages. Guests can create their own bustling city with railroad tracks, trains, cards and more!
- Their Signature āKinetic Toysā explores the science of toys, from FurbyĀ® to radiometers, plus magnetic interactive play walls.
- Schylling Tin Toys ā See how tin toys are created out of simple sheets of tin
- Keva Planks, Lincoln Logs and Brain Teasers play areas.
- Large-scale versions of vintage games such as Battleship and Connect 4.
- Music in video games
- Huge electronic floor piano
