Winter Evening Beach Exploration

Description

Come out and join Friends of Saltwater State Park Naturalists for a rare chance to do a low tide beach walk after dark and explore the variety of sea life you find during the winter. Weather dependent.

Discover pass NOT required.

Dress for the weather and be sure to bring:

• Flashlight with good batteries

• Waterproof boots if you have them

• Warm hat & gloves

• UV Flashlights are optional but fun as some of the local wildlife fluoresce

Signs and staff will direct you to the Park’s side entrance. Please arrive no later than 7:15 pm.
