Deborah Custer, Ph.D., provides educational evaluations, parent consultation and support, and academic tutoring for children of all ages. Areas addressed include reading, math, written language, and executive function skills.
Dr. Custer earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has over 35 years of experience working in medical (Johns Hopkins, Children’s National Medical Center) and educational (Maryland, Illinois, Washington State) settings, and recently retired as a school psychologist.
UNDERSTAND: Through conversations with you and your child we will determine your child’s strengths and areas of concern. We will also review interventions that are in place at home and school, and any other relevant information.
