Additional information

University Cooperative School, a 2025 Best in the PNW award-winning elementary school, is thrilled to welcome rising K—5th graders to our summer program! Together, we’ll build, experiment, puzzle, play, cook, run, build friendships, discover new strengths, and create lasting memories.

Hands-On, Minds-On Learning
At University Cooperative School, summer is a season of joyful, screen-free exploration. We invite children to dive into hands on adventures that spark imagination, build confidence, and celebrate the magic of childhood. Our camps are led by experienced educators and supported by enthusiastic alumni volunteers who know how to create environments where kids feel safe, seen, and inspired. Campers are encouraged to follow their curiosity, try new things, and discover their strengths.

Creative Themes That Spark Imagination
Our commitment to nurturing curiosity, creativity, play, and problem-solving is at the heart of everything we do. Each week offers a unique theme, all rooted in the warm, community centered spirit that defines our school. Whether they’re cooking, building forts, creating comics, or diving into science projects, campers stay active, engaged, and connected.

Outdoor Exploration Every Day
We take full advantage of Seattle’s summer weather and our close proximity to Ravenna/Cowen Park. Each camp blends in-depth explorations inside the school with daily outdoor time; whether adventuring through hiking trails, exploring neighborhood green spaces, going on field trips, or simply enjoying open‑ended play.
