2026 Summer Camps and Classes
Summers at Camps for Curious Minds require big questions, bright ideas, and tons of fun experiments—how else can you engineer underwater machines, conduct chemistry experiments, and scheme up new inventions in one week? Join PacSci this year at Camps for Curious Minds, where mistakes are half the fun and trying things out fuels kids’ enthusiasm to explore the world around them.
PacSci offers camps for grades PreK-8 at six different locations: on the Pacific Science Center campus, Explorer West Middle School, Kenmore Environmental Education and Research Center, Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center, Salish Sea Elementary, and Woodinville Montessori School’s Bothell Campus.
This year features several new camps for early ages, including Lottie’s Little Explorers, Mini Medics, Harriet’s Pebble Pals, Bit by Bit, and Literacy Lab. Plenty of longtime camp favorites in every age range are back this summer as well, including Rockasaurus, Under the Sea, Cookie Caper, Grossology, and Duct Tape Challenge. PacSci also offers sensory-friendly camps, girls-focused camps, and camps designed for a range of mobility needs.
If you’re a PacSci member, early registration begins on Feb 2, 2026. For more information on membership, visit pacsci.org/membership. General registration opens Feb. 9, 2026, and closes the Monday before the session’s start date. If one camp is full, we encourage families to sign up for the waitlist.
Scholarships are available for prospective campers who qualify in any of the following ways: Qualified for the free or reduced lunch program for the 2025-2026 school year, are currently in the foster care system or were for the 2025-2026 school year, have a parent or guardian enrolled in SNAP or other public assistance programs, or have a Family Access or Youth Access Membership.
