Wintergrass Music Festival

Description

Wintergrass is an indoor four-day, family-friendly bluegrass, American, roots, and acoustic music festival held in Bellevue WA.

The festival takes place on February 20-23, 2025, and features music on different stages, dances, festival workshops, and robust music education programs for all ages ranging from half to three-day programs running concurrently with the festival. Enjoy non-stop jamming in every nook and cranny, fine luthiers and arts and crafts vendors. A Wintergrass 'weekend' pass is good for all four days for all stages and festival workshops. Single day tickets are also available. As always, kids 12 and under are always free.

KIDS Events/Activities: Wintergrass JAMZ Youth Education Programs will offer JAMZ 1, 2, and 3 for kids and teens, teaching them bluegrass and folk music, folk-art stories, and singing games, and will provide instruments for everyone. Here are the schedule, dates, and times for JAMZ Youth Education Programs.

JAMZ 1: Designed for 4-7-year-olds (Feb 20 & 21, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.) @ Evergreen

JAMZ 2: Aimed for 8-12-year-olds (Feb 20 & 21, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.) @ Evergreen

JAMZ 3: High school and college students (Feb 21 & 22, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) @ Maple

Youth Orchestra: designed for students who are experienced bowed string musicians in middle and high school.

• Feb 22, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. @ rehearsal Cedar.
• Feb 23, performance @ Grand Ballroom
