Coyote Central invites youth aged 10 to 15 to dive into a world of creativity, skill-building, and self-discovery. Located in the heart of Seattle, our summer youth program offers immersive, week-long studio courses designed to spark imagination and build real-world skills.
At Coyote Central, we believe that young people thrive when they are given the tools, respect, and space to create authentic work. Our creative studios are led by amazing teaching artists. This summer, our extensive 9-week course catalog features a dynamic mix of traditional crafts and cutting-edge digital media. Students can choose from a diverse range of hands-on topics, including:
- Fine Arts & Studio Crafts: Welding, woodworking, fashion design, pottery, painting and jewelry design.
- Digital Media & Technology: Filmmaking, stop motion, digital photography, and audio production, video game design, digital design, robotics
- Culinary & Performing Arts: Dance, singing, culinary arts, theater, and creative writing.
Every course is structured as a deep dive, running Monday through Friday in either morning or afternoon blocks. This immersive setup allows students to fully engage with their chosen medium, safely master professional tools, and complete a high-quality project from start to finish. Our small class sizes ensure personalized instruction, fostering a collaborative and supportive community where every creative voice is valued.
