The White River Valley Museum, located in Les Gove Park, right behind the Auburn Library is fun for the whole family. Admission is FREE! Kids will love walking through the pioneer cabin, smelling a Japanese farm, exploring the play tents, and climbing aboard the caboose. Adults will engage in the region’s unique history in our permanent galleries and explore art, history, and popular culture in the Museum’s temporary exhibits. Every winter, the Museum hosts a Festival of Trees featuring beautiful and creative Christmas trees throughout the galleries. If you’re looking for a perfect, no-hassle field trip for your school, the Museum is great for early learners. The Museum sees thousands of students every year on engaging, curriculum-based tours. The Museum also operates a historic farm, the Mary Olson Farm, just ten minutes down the road, that is open for free events during the summer months – check out our website for details!
