Ballard parents, rejoice! This Saturday, head to Kirke Park for the free Whittier Heights Family Festival!

This free kid-centric festival will feature a live performance by the Not-Its, food and ice cream, a yoga class for kids and adults, a flower-growing tutorial, and a raffle for gift cards from local businesses Honoré, Top Ten Toys, Paint the Town, and Caffe Vita.

Music and face painting starts at 11 am; yoga's at 12 pm, and mini guitar lessons are at 1:30 pm. As a bonus, the block in front of the park will be blocked off from cars so kids can ride bikes freely.

The Whittier Heights Family Festival happens Saturday, August 8 from 11 am to 3 pm. 7028 9th Ave NW, Seattle, 98117
