Consuelo Guijosa
Consuelo is a great woman, mother and a professional member of the community. We met in an English class and with a common goal of serving the community through our voice and advocacy. Throughout this time I have had the opportunity to see her great and wonderful path as a mother of a beautiful girl who is now a young woman.
Being a mother, professional, and volunteer is not an easy task. Consuelo is very organized and has the ability to balance her life in each of her roles, especially being a mother.
She has a great strength that makes Consuelo an extraordinary person: her way of advocating for the needs of her girl, seeking and connecting with the necessary resources and people for support for the well-being of her daughter’s development at each stage since she was born, and who is now a brilliant, prepared and present young girl. Not only that, in addition to her tireless dedication and upbringing, Consuelo is a very resilient, brave and dedicated professional that serves the community with her knowledge as a mother and professional supporting young people and adults whom with a smile she serves and renews their hope and faith that it is never too late to learn to continue preparing and developing themselves in this life.
Consuelo is an inspiration of resiliency and strength for her family and to many people in the community that she serves through different situations, and for that I think Consuelo is an unsung hero!
