2025 Summer Camps and Classes

Summers at Camps for Curious Minds are always abuzz with energy — after all, engineering underwater machines, conducting chemistry experiments, and scheming up new inventions require hard work. But even more important, the curiosity at the core of every experiment and activity requires campers to ask a simple question: what’s next? Experiences like these fuel a camper’s enthusiasm to learn more about their passions and the world around them. PacSci offers camps for grades PreK-8.

Camps for Curious Minds are happening at five different locations across Puget Sound: On the Pacific Science Center campus, Explorer West Middle School, Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center, St. Thomas School, Salish Sea Elementary.

New camps like Acutely Curious, Byte-Sized, and Froggy's Grand Adventure spark curiosity, with sensory-friendly and girls-focused sessions available at every location.

Campers in grades 6-8 can look forward to fun and challenging camps curriculum exploring valuable skills and possible future careers like computer science, robotics, engineering, and more. Don’t miss PacSci’s newest 6-8 camp, Expedition Artemis, where campers explore all the Moon has to offer as we enter the next generation of space travel.

Plenty of longtime camp favorites in every age range are back for Summer 2025. Little Lab, Rockasaurus, Under the Sea, Cookie Caper, Grossology, and Eco-Exploration are just a few of the 82 topics available for your camper. PacSci also offers sensory-friendly camps, girls-focused camps, and camps designed for a range of mobility needs.

If you’re a PacSci member, early registration is available starting Feb 4, 2025. For more information on membership, visit pacsci.org/membership.

General registration opens Feb. 11, 2025, and closes the Monday before the session’s start date. If a desired camp is full, we encourage families to sign-up for the waitlist.

Scholarships are available for prospective campers who qualify in any of the following ways: Qualified for the free or reduced lunch program for the 2024-2025 school year, are currently in the foster care system or were for the 2024-2025 school year, have a parent or guardian enrolled in SNAP or other public assistance programs, or have a Family Access or Youth Access Membership. A lottery system is used to select scholarship recipients. You can learn more and fill out an application at pacsci.org/camps. Scholarship applications available on Feb 3, 2025.
