2024 Summer Camps and Classes
Summers at Camps for Curious Minds are always abuzz with energy — after all, engineering underwater machines, conducting chemistry experiments, and scheming up new inventions require hard work. But even more important, the curiosity at the core of every experiment and activity requires campers to ask a simple question: what’s next? Experiences like these fuel a camper’s enthusiasm to learn more about their passions and the world around them. PacSci offers camps for ages PreK-8.
Camps for Curious Minds are happening at six different locations across Puget Sound: On the Pacific Science Center campus, Explorer West Middle School, Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center, St. Thomas School, Salish Sea Elementary and a new location at Eastside Preparatory School.
In addition to a new location, PacSci has also expanded the camps available at Salish and St. Thomas. And there are completely new camps this year, like Tiny Tales for the little ones, Bug-ology, Living Laboratory, Animal Investigators and more.
Campers in grades 6-8 can look forward to fun and challenging camps curriculum exploring valuable skills and possible future careers like computer science, robotics, engineering, and more. Don’t miss PacSci’s newest 6-8 camp, Code Crafters, where campers automate huge Minecraft builds in minutes using block-based coding!
Plenty of longtime camp favorites in every age range are back for Summer 2024. Wild Explorers, Legends of Polliwog Pond, Candyology, Wild Ocean Adventures, Grossology, and Outdoor Survival School are just a few of the 80 camps available for your camper. PacSci also offers sensory-friendly camps, girls-focused camps, and camps designed for a range of mobility needs.
If you’re a PacSci member, early registration is available starting Feb. 6, 2024. For more information on membership, visit pacsci.org/membership.
General registration opens Feb. 13, 2024, and closes the Wednesday before the session’s start date.
