Summer J Camp return! With 60 camps to choose from, you can build your own experience with Summer J Camp. From Core Camps to Specialty Camps to our brand-new camps at Green Lake, you can create a summer schedule that works best for your family.
Summer J Camp—an ACA accredited summer camp named one of the best in the nation—offers week-long options for kids going into pre-k through 10th grades. Campers enjoy swimming in our indoor pool, boating and waterfront activities on Lake Washington, archery, crafts, field trips, dedicated counselors and staff, and tons of ruach (spirit)! More than five decades of happy campers agree: Summer J Camp is the place to be!
Core Camps are filled with swimming, games, art, science, music, sports, and tons of friends. We offer camps just for pre-k and kindergarteners, Sports Camp for athletes of all skill levels, J Camps at Luther Burbank Park and Green Lake, and our most popular camp: Camp Kef. Older campers head out every day to explore in X Camp or learn leadership skills in our Counselor in Training program
This summer’s specialty camps give kids a chance to focus on their favorite activities or explore something new. Kids can learn about robots and animation, spend the week on the waterfront, take the stage in theater camp, release their inner chef, explore the world of fashion, discover Minecraft, and so much more. Our partners—All That Dance, Chess Wizards, Gymnastics East, Karate-X, Little Medical School, Smart With Art, Soccer Fun Camps, Specialty J Camps (aquatics, camping, cooking, drama, + sports), SUMM: Seattle Universal Math Museum, Tech Academy, and Wise Camps—help bring our campers an amazing summer of fun and discovery.
Summer J Camp also offers add-ons to the camp day, including bus transportation to and from locations around Seattle and the Eastside, extended care, and swim lessons. Discounts and financial assistance are available.
J Camp is a program of the Stroum Jewish Community Center of Greater Seattle, which celebrates 75 years of profound Jewish connections in 2024. Founded in 1949, the Stroum Jewish Community Center (SJCC) strives to be the Puget Sound’s most open and welcoming community-centered Jewish organization, offering experiences that amplify profound Jewish connections for every generation.
